I usually love your information. This one was a real downer. I’m on 6th month of sciatica and improving all the time. I hear of many people who can take as long as a year or more and still recover fully. The 3-4 month info needs further explanation.
You're absolutely right - I wrote 'rarely improve' but have now softened the language to 'less likely'. Thank you. The data do still show a drop off in improvement rates 3 months after first appointment (not onset). (https://tomjesson.substack.com/p/four-to-six-schmeeks)

To clarify- I was definitely stalled at months 3-4 but have made gains since
